Maple Leaf Shipping Co., Ltd, a private owned compay with independent legal entity qualification, was founded on 16 May, 2002. It was also qualified to operate international transportation and management. It's specialized in ship management and international transportation with bulkers, containers and oil tankers.

According to the requirements of ISM rule, the company established international and domestic safety management system in 2007, and passed verification of China Classification Society (CCS) by the end of 2007, and obtained corresponding Document of Compliance (DOC). Vessels managed by Maple Leaf Shipping Co., Ltd have also got the certificate of SMC.

Operation and management of the company are strictly in accordance with the rules and regulations of IMO. Under the rules of Safty Management System, shore-based management department and fleet work to the principle of Safer ship, Cleaner sea, Healthier crew and More outstanding efficiency, and always keep good records concerning safety and environmental protection. It never occurs any big average, damage, pollution and personal casualty accident

The company has high-quality management team, including several senior captains and senior chief engineers. They have been engaged in ship management for a long period so that can provide customers with excellent, high-efficient and thoughtful service. There are 8 ships managed by the company at present including container ships, bulk carriers and oil tankers trading worldwide and some of them are on chartering basis. The company is planning to take the managment of another seven newbuildings and is expected to reach 13 vessels in total in management at the end of 2011 and the transportation capacity can get to minimun 380,000 tons.
